I’m going to start this blog off by writing about my first job at PetSafe. I wanted to be a part of this company so badly, and I had heard that the call center was a great place to be. May of 2012 marked the beginning of a fun journey, and in June I took my first call for PetSafe. Gosh. I had a blast. It was so much fun to help our customers, to talk about their pets and to make sure everyone knew everything there was to know about PetSafe! While I am no longer with my Customer Care family, I will forever enjoy celebrating the amazing work that they do on a daily basis.

Customer Service Week is a pretty big deal here at the office. Some companies will send out an email thanking associates for their hard work. Others may do a catered lunch. We tend to go all out.
Our Customer Care Department is full of incredible pet lovers who work to make sure your products are always at their absolute best. There is a special planning committee that meets months before CSW to plan the week’s events. A theme is chosen, sub-committees are formed and CSW takes off on its own special and fun course. This year the theme revolved around game shows, with one final game show planned for Friday to wrap-up the fun.

This isn’t just a few pieces of paper up on a wall. Nope. Not at our office. TV screens featured the events for the week, fun posters lined the walls and rooms were decorated for the different game shows that would soon be played. The week started off with fun mock-ups of game shows like “Minute to Win It,” “The Price is Right” and “Jeopardy.” Different Customer Care representatives hosted each game show, and other associates got to participate in the fun during their breaks.
Since CSW took place during the week of our 2013 Chili Cook-Off, a special group lunch took place on Thursday afternoon instead of the usual time slot for Friday. Our Training Room was filled with delicious barbeque, side dishes and red velvet cake. While we are always happy to take your calls about our products, every now and then our phones are shut down to accommodate a special occasion here at PetSafe.
Friday morning was a special time for CSW, as everyone in the Customer Care Department got to take some time to play, “Let’s Make a Deal,” for a chance to win some great prizes. Quite a few people dressed in some pretty funky costumes, just like they do on the actual game show. There was a host, some great prize runners who rolled tables in with some fun gifts and even volunteers who held up the wonderful “applause” and “womp womp womp” signs. What a fun way to get the crowd involved!
After the game show ended, everyone was once again thanked for the great work that they do on the phones. Then the Chili Cook-Off began. Associates sat outside to enjoy some delightful chili and cornbread, spent time with friends and talked about all the fun they had during CSW. A group of dressed-up associates pose for a picture
